Slim the Lineman and the Power Lines that Bisected the Great Valley

Michael Morrison will present the remakable story of his grandfather Leslie White ("Slim") Morrison who helped to build the major power lines that run though the Great Valley, and whose adventures inspired a novel and a Hollywood movie.

Our History Quarterly Digital Archives are available to all for viewing and searching. This valuable local history resource contains most of the issues published since 1937, and provides details and unique perspectives on many aspects of our historic community.

Mike Bertram's 18th Century Tredyffrin section of the site, features interactive maps and a substantial collection of useful information about tax & census returns, roads, mills & tanneries, inns, currency, war reparations, and more.

Knox Bridge

Our new Image Collection online database continues to grow, with the recent addition of several new groups of images. This valuable resource is also hosted in Mike's section of the site, and features a searchable partial inventory of our large and growing collection of historic images.
